I Octane's Home In Portmore, St. Catherine Was Recently Raided By Police Officers | TuffChin.Com

I Octane's home in Portmore, St. Catherine was recently raided by police officers in search of an 'illegal operation' dealing with drugs and armed weapons that they've received an anonymous tip about.

Octane immediately stated, "Octane nuh deal with gun or drugs.. mi nuh smoke, mi not even drink alcohol. One of the sad things about being in the public eye is being misinterpreted, misunderstood and misjudged."

After the raid was completed, officers did not find any illegal material or sited any suspicious activity from his home but they did not leave without seizing his vehicle stating that some of the paperwork did not correlate with the engine number so they needed to do an extensive investigation.

Apparantly, the vehicle was purchased by his record label for three years, Arrows Recording and upon announcing his departure from the label -- the label wants the car back!!

"So what if dem want it back?? Mi life nuh stop deh so! Me have greater things fi accomplish," says I Octane whose also known as Byiome Muir.

And if you thought the drama stopped there.. another twist to the story is that Arrows Recording took out a life insurance policy in I Octane's name where the label would be the SOLE BENEFICIARY if I Octane was to die. The policy is worth over a million dollars!!

The label CLAIMS that this was regular protocal stating, "It's like when you get a loan from a bank and they take out a life insurance policy on you.. it's the same thing." They say they just wanted to reclaim the money they've invested in his career if.. BY CHANCE.. he dies.

I Octane seems to be level headed in this situation, "Mi jus a keep a calm head still.. Yuh haffi strong in these times because it might push you into the wrong crowd.. Tell di fans don't worry though, Octane will continue to remain positive."

Lil Wayne Begins Prison Sentence (Monday)Today | TuffChin.Com

Dental surgery, a courthouse fire and scheduling issues should have no chance in interfering with Lil Wayne starting his one-year prison sentence later today.

The rapper was set to be sentenced last month, but Wayne's attorney requested a delay so the rapper could undergo eight root canals. Then, just hours before he was set to head to Rikers Island the second time, a fire broke out at the Manhattan Criminal Court Building delaying his departure.

Wayne is now set to appear before his judge on Monday (March 8) afternoon and plead guilty to attempted gun possession. He's then expected to turn himself in immediately to begin his prison term.

As the true workaholic he is, Weezy has been spending these past lucky weeks completing a number of music videos to keep fans happy while he's away; this includes shooting nine music videos in one weekend.

Urban Spin will keep you updated on Wayne's sentencing...although we can assume this time he's heading to prison for real.
